On the banks of the Nolichuckey

This was a stop enroute to Barnes and Noble - decided we needed a walk by the river. It was also by Davy Crockett's birthplace, and they had a wonderful garden planted.

very nice stop on the way to Barnes and Noble. What did you buy when you did get there? But, on the way you found some peace and quiet and beautiful scenery. Love the train and the mountain picture. How cool is that?

Well, it's precious you'd know I bought things at B&N! I got "Ahab's Wife," "The Catcher in the Rye," "Son of a Witch" (sequel to "Wicked"), a landscaping book, a MAC book, and a Cultural Travel magazine. Rhonda got us Spanish/French workbooks too. We're set for the cooler and shorter days!

Absolutely gorgeous shots! So serene and beautiful! I loved the train photo too, but they are all wonderful! Neat fence, and such beautiful carnations(?) Wow! What a nice stop you had on your way....
